**Pearland Substation will be temporarily closed on Mondays and Tuesdays beginning 1/25/16 until further notice. Regular business hours are Wednesday-Friday from 8-5.**



Effective 9-1-15, Senate Bill 200 requires a person applying for a certified copy of a birth or death record by mail, email or fax to provide notarized proof of identity before the record can be issued.



Effective 12-14-2015 the Brazoria County Clerk Criminal Office will be participating in permissive criminal e-filing.
***Please be advised the Brazoria County District Attorney's Office does not participate in permissive criminal e-filing at this time. In criminal cases, e-filing does not provide notice to the Brazoria County District Attorney's Office. Therefore, a physical paper copy of the filing must still be provided to the Brazoria County District Attorney's Office via mail, facsimile, or hand-delivery for proper notice.***
